Ragnarok Online - the game that changes my life

CAUTIOUS: This post is seriously long and boring. it's just my some of random thoughts and old stories.

Actually recently I had been keep thinking about this, then this morning I saw this post by my friend, and I finally decided to blog about Ragnarok Online.

10 years ago, I started playing RO when I'm 14, form 2, secondary school. How I found out about this game? That time RO was so popular that they even had TV ads for it, but no, I only know about it after I started playing. That time, most of my male classmates are playing this game. I wanted to join the hype so I started as well. However, few weeks after I started playing, most of my classmates got bored and stopped playing. Only me and few more of them continue playing.

I started playing in eRO Thor server, it's Malaysia official english RO server. It was a new server that consists of very less players, compared to those old servers like Iris 1 & 2, Penril, Odin. I started playing as a Thief, trying to be an Assassin. That time, I'm playing RO almost whole day once I'm back from school. Of course, I'm leveling my character manually, until my Assassin reached 90 level. At that time, I learned about bot. I started to config different kind of bots, using them to level up my characters and earning zeny. *zeny is the game currency* During that time, I helped many friends to bot. Although using bot is against the rules, but people don't care because it's a lot easy. I'm also not bothered about it, until my brother's account get locked because get caught by GM. During that period, I stopped all my bots and went back to play manually. At that time, I already had a 99 level Assassin and Wizard, and I was leveling my Merchant. Okay, so the leveling story will stop here first.

Guild. I guess I don't need to explain this since most MMORPG have guild or clan system. The first guild I joined in RO, I already forgotten the name, but my guild leader is still my Facebook friend. Well, this also has a long story. After I joined the guild, I had a lot of fun *I guess*, but very soon, not sure I left the guild or the guild disbanded. Well, luckily I added my guild leader's MSN. Yes, MSN. During that time, this was the best tool for communication with online friends. After 1 or 2 years later, my guild leader joined my current guild at that time, and of course I remembered his IGN. After that, during some random chatting in MSN, I found out that he actually staying in the same condominium with me, same block, just 4 floors above my house. Well, that time I was very shy and I never meet him, until I moved to my new house also I never met him before. After that, since I had his MSN, I added him when I created my Facebook account.

So, After the first guild, I continue to join other small guilds. Small guide as in those chit chat and leveling guild, guild that don't go for PvP and Guild War. I also know many friends from there that until now I still know them. And finally, I forgotten how, but I joined the strongest guild in the server, Brotherhood Guardian. At first it was known as BH, for BrotherHood, but soon, it was known as Guardian, where all sub guilds are named with Guardian, like xxx Guardian. I remember that time I was 15, where I'm having PMR during end of the year, and the first MSRC was held during that time as well. MSRC, if not mistaken, it is called as Malaysia Singapore Ragnarok Championship. My guild won in Thor server. Not long after that, my guild were disbanded. I still keep in touch with some of the members that I'm close with, and that time I only know very few people in the guild. After that, I joined quite many different guilds, almost all of Thor server guilds I joined before. Then, at last I joined the guild that was supposed to be enemy of Guardian, Seremban Area. Seremban Area was one of the few strongest guild in Thor server as well. Like the guild name, the guild leader and those core members are all from Seremban. There are many members from Singapore and KL as well. In this guild, it was my most fun time during eRO. We often go MVP, PvP, Guild War together. A few friends from that guild are still my good friends until now, although some still never meet before yet.

Not sure after how long, eRO announced that servers will be merged. Thor server was merged with Penril and Iris 2, and they became Idun. After the servers merged, most of the existing strong guilds in Thor combined as one, known as [ R ] e v a l u t i o n. After several guild wars in Idun, I stopped eRO. Why I stopped? Because that time I was 17, form 5, having SPM during end of the year. I can't touch the computer until my exam ended. And so, the story of eRO ends here.
Here are photos from eRO. Photos taken from Tenka's facebook.

and this! a RV keychain mailed to me from Singapore by RV Guild Leader during year 2006! I'm still keeping it well.

BUT, this is not the end of my RO story yet. After SPM ended, I'm able to get online again. I found out that most people in the guild stopped playing eRO as well due to cash items and lagness. Most of the members went to a private server, IvaliceRO. This was the best private server I had ever played. The first guild I joined in IvaliceRO was Celestica, because most of my friends joined, and then later is Apostate. In there, I know many friends that until now we still keep in touch. On year 2008, I even went to Singapore for the guild gathering during Christmas. That time was really fun, where it's the first time I meet many friends that I know for a long time. That gathering was really awesome and I will remember it forever. I blogged about that, but it was in my old blog, which was already gone. I still kept some photos though.

After IvaliceRO closed, I still played another few more private servers like TransquilityRO, EnjoyRO. EnjoyRO was my last RO, which I stopped playing in 2012. During these 2 servers, I also made quite many friends. This morning I was so free, so I went to count my RO friends that are in Facebook. Out of my 545 friends in Facebook, 130 of them are friends from RO. In real life, I've met almost all of them who were from KL, Selangor and Singapore, except those who are from further states and countries. Nowadays I still used to meet with some of them from time to time.

10 years... It's been 10 years since I started playing. RO really changes my life a lot. I'm used to be a quiet person in school, until I started playing RO, get to know many friends, meeting different people and it changed me. Well I can actually write a lot more, but I better stop here because my RO stories are like never ending stories, I can write non stop about them. Like what my friend said in his post, "Most ppl probably won't understand this, but RO was definitely more than 'just a game' for me. It was a big part of my teen years and in some ways, a real place to me."

lastly, here's 2 of my favourite Ragnarok Online OST

New chapter of life

After I graduated on last year's December, finally I started working on the 2nd of January. I only interviewed for 2 jobs, one of them gave me an offer straight away, but somehow I didn't accept it because I'm more looking forward to another one, and fortunately, they also accepted me. People always say, when you start working, you will miss study life. For me, yeah, maybe I will missed my secondary school life, but college life, No. My office is just near my house, located in TPM, Bukit Jalil. Yes, I purposely look for jobs that are near my house, because I do not want to suffer in traffic jam every morning. Although it's so near my house, but I still need around 15 to 30 mins to reach, because outside my housing area is jamming everyday. When going home from work, I only need 5 mins and I'm home. My first month salary was spent on CNY clothes and my new phone, LG Nexus 4. Starting this month, I'm gonna start saving up for my Taiwan trip on May.

Comic Fiesta 2012

This post has been pending in my draft for so long, finally I'm gonna complete and post it today.

Comic Fiesta, the most important ACG event of the year in Malaysia. This year is the 10th year of Comic Fiesta. I started attending Comic Fiesta since 2008 till now, every year I went for both day except last year which something unexpected happened.

This year's CF venue is same with last year, which is KLCC Convention Center. As usual, I will be driving there myself because it will be more convenient for me to arrive and leave anytime without waiting for LRT. As usual too, I park at the parking lot at Jalan Perak, just beside Wisma UOA 2. I just need to walk across the road and it's KLCC Convention Center's entrance. Every time there is event at KLCC Convention Center, I will be parking my car there because it's per entry, instead of parking in KLCC where the parking rate increases every hour. The parking price there is RM10 per entry as I remembered, but this time it's RM8 on Saturday and RM5 on Sunday. Normally I will go CF 30 mins before the gate opening time, but on Saturday, I reach there kinda late, around 10.15am because I woke up kinda late. Yesterday night went out yumcha with my RO buddies - 1 came from Kampar for CF, 1 came from Singapore for CF and 1 going back Singapore today. We had few hours of blow water session at Steven's Corner Setapak until late night.

So on day 1, I reached around 10.15am, the gate already opened for awhile. I already bought my early bird ticket last few months ago during AniManGaKi, so I do not need to queue for tickets this year. There's a lane for people who already had tickets, so I went into the hall quickly and smoothly. I around the hall for few rounds, bumped into some friends. Then I went to Culture Japan booth to queue for the touch n go card. Just when I'm almost reaching the booth, they announced that the touch n go card is sold out. Then I continue to walk around. Around 2pm I went back to the stage for Danny Choo's Culture Japan session. After that I continue walk around and bumped into other friends. Today I also brought some of my YUI albums to lend my friend to rip. so whole day I just keep walked with my friends until I bump into other friends and keep repeating. I didn't plan to buy other stuffs, so the doujin booth don't really attract me, but my friends spent a lot there, literally. I also met many friends who cosplay. Around 7pm, we quickly went for dinner and went back there because it's bless4 concert soon! The concert was so awesome, the songs were great even though I've never heard them before! Before the concert ends, all the audiences went up to the stage and high-5 with all bless4 members!

On Day 2, nothing much special happened. The best part is the stage performance in the morning by Mystical Mirage. After that I just simply walk around and bump into different cosplay friends. Didn't really take any photo in both day.

In the 2 days of Comic Fiesta, I only bought the movie tickets of Naruto and Fairy Tail movie. The movie will be aired at Cathay Cineplex, e@Curve on 5th January. Other than that, I did not spend any money in the convention center.

Graduated

After more than 4 years of college, finally I've graduated on 1st December. I started my foundation on January right after my SPM in APIIT. After 4 years, from APIIT to UCTI and now, APU. I guess this is the end of my study life, the end of one chapter of my life. Starting next month I will start working. Hope everything will be fine.

Anime Festival Asia 2012

this post is just my experience of AFA12, not a full coverage of the event. this post is full of my own opinions, if you feel uncomfortable while reading just close it.

AFA12 was held in Singapore Expo from 9/11/2012 to 11/11/2012. Finally this year I am able to attend AFA in Singapore. The previous few AFA I wanted to attend but couldn't because need to go college. For now, I already graduated from college and still unemployed. Therefore, this year I'm free to go there! The main reason I wanted to go to AFA this year is to attend the concert. This year AFA Anisong concert has lots of awesome artists coming to Singapore to perform, and the few artists I'm interested are T.M.Revolution and Sphere. So I bought the 3 days basic package in October via online and started planning my trip to Singapore. Firstly I asked my aunty that stays in Singapore whether I'm able to stay in her house during the few days, and I got permission. Next is to buy bus ticket. I didn't bring much cash there, because I didn't plan to buy anything due to the currency exchange rate is so high.

Day 0
So, on 9/11/2012 morning, my mum fetch me to the bus office at Bangsar at the morning. I'm taking the 11.30am bus, and estimated to arrive Singapore by 4.30pm. At the bus office, I met one of my secondary schoolmate unexpectedly. She's going to Singapore also and we're on the same bus. The arriving time was delayed probably because of heavy rain and traffic jam. I reach the destination around 5.40pm. My initial plan was to put my luggage at my friend's house then go to Singapore Expo for concert, then after concert return to get my luggage then only go to my aunty's house. However, due to the delay, I couldn't do that. I waited for taxi at Novena Square since 6pm, until 7pm only I'm able to get a taxi. From there, it took me around 35 mins to reach Singapore Expo. Yes, I brought my luggage along to the concert, no choice. After reaching Singapore Expo, I thought I made i, since the concert supposed to start at 7.30pm and I'm only 5 mins late. However, everything turn out to be so different from my expectation. The queue to collect ticket is sooooo long. Yes, just to collect the ticket I purchased online, not to buy ticket on the spot. I queue for 40 mins to get my ticket, when I get into the concert hall is already 8.15pm. Friday night is the solo concert of T.M.Revolution, as this is also their first performance in other country outside Japan. I missed about 6 or 7 songs. Fortunately, those songs I missed are the songs I'm not familiar with. All my favourite songs were sang after I get into the concert hall. The concert was just awesome, even though I missed some part. After the concert, I went to McDonald's @ Changi Center Point, then I took bus to my aunty house.

Day 1
Next day, I reach Singapore Expo about 10am. My aunty fetch me there after having breakfast. The queue to buy entrance ticket is very long also. I actually wanted to buy the ticket yesterday. The counter to purchase ticket was totally empty yesterday, but after I collected my concert tickets, it's already 8.10pm and the counter closed at 8pm. I didn't queue for the ticket immediately. I walked around and saw some of my friends that came from Malaysia. They are the members of M.V.P and they just came to Singapore Expo right after getting down from the plane. I sit down and talked with them for awhile, then I saw the long queue was gone then I went to buy the entrance ticket. The festival ticket is $8 for one day and festival+stage ticket is $20 for one day. I bought festival+ stage ticket for 2 days. After going in the AFA hall, I can see many booths having long queue, especially the Sword Art Online booth. My friends queue at the booth since 9am until around 2pm still not yet able to go in the booth. almost all of the merchandise are sold out by the time they reach the booth. Yesterday when I was queuing to get the concert tickets, the guy in front of me told me he's gonna queue overnight to be the first few person to get in AFA hall in order to purchase items at SAO booth, because purchasing over $50 at SAO booth, they can get a ticket to get LiSA's autograph, and it's limited. Frankly speaking, I'm not interested in buying things, so most of the booths I just walk pass. The booth that get my attention is the Anime Karaoke booth, people can sing at the booth using an application on Mac to see their score. I stand at the booth for quite some time. Another booth is Sony Music booth, because they are selling official merchandise of YUI. I was so tempted to buy, but managed to control myself. For stage events, I didn't camp at the event hall, so I missed many events. The few one I watched were the appearance of I Love Anisong concert Artiste - fripSide, m.o.v.e and LiSA, HoriPro showcase - Sea*A, May'n and Kishio Daisuke.

In the concert, the first group to perform is BABYMETAL. I've never heard of them until today, and their songs not my type also. They're like a group of lolis at the age of 13/14. Next is m.o.v.e. I also never heard of them, but their songs are great. They sang theme songs for Initial D and Ikkitousen. motsu's english is quite good and he interact with us a lot. Next group is fridSide. It's the first time for this and the previous 2 group to perform outside Japan. fripSide sang theme songs of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, Hayate no Gotoku movie. After fripSide is LiSA, which most people are waiting for this. Today's concert hall is totally full, unlike yesterday still got many empty spaces. So many LiSA fans in the concert. However, the set up takes too long, until about 10.40pm only LiSA get on stage. The concert was supposed to start at 7pm to 11pm, but delayed till 7.30 only start. LiSA has been to AFA last year, but this is the first time I watching her live. I don't know all the songs she sang, only some. After LiSA, many people left the hall to catch MRT because it's already 11.20pm. I didn't care and didn't bothered to leave because I'm taking bus, or worst then I walk back, since it's only 4km away from my aunty's house, because next is FLOW! I've became their fans since watching their concert during AFAMY. Since m.o.v.e start performing I've been jumping and shouting, and even ran out to buy glow sticks. even during fripSide and LiSA also still jumping and shouting. I was so exhausted, but continue jumping once the "Jibun wo" started. They even sing a cover of "Zankoku na Tenshi no These".

Day 2
I won't write about the booths in day 2, since I'm not really interested, but one booth I must write about it, which is the SAO booth. I mentioned earlier, I met a guy when I queuing for concert ticket during T.M.Revolution concert. During yesterday's concert, he was sitting right behind me, and I had a talk with him before the concert starts. After T.M.Revolution concert, he really stay at Singapore Expo and queue overnight, and he managed to get the ticket for LiSA's autograph. From what he said, around 3am in the midnight, there's already around 50 people queuing at the entrance of AFA. Around 5am+ when the first train arrived, it's already over 100 people queuing. Right after he bought his stuffs, he straight went home to sleep and come back for the concert. This explains why my friends queue for over 5 hours still can't reach the booth. And all SAO booth items were sold out one first day, second day they're not selling anything, just displaying items at the booth.

For the stage event, I went there late today because I was having lunch with my Singaporean friend at Tampines Mall, so I missed Kamiyama Kenji's presentation, but I guess it will be similar to what he presented during AFAMY. When I went in the event hall, Danny is having an interview session with Nishihara Fumiaki, the editor-in-chief of Lis Ani! magazine. After this is Bushiroad Stage, I'm not interested so I left the hall again. I return around 2.30pm for I Love Anisong concert Artiste appearance - May'n, Kuribayashi Minami, Sea*A and Sphere. Before the event starts, the crowd all rushed in front the stage with their cameras. When they appeared, the crowd went so hype. So basically just some introduction of themselves and answering some questions. After this, the other artists left, except Sphere because next event is Sphere special stage. If I'm not mistaken, it's also streaming live on nico nico douga. Danny and Yoshimi had a short interview with Sphere, then Sphere performed live dub anime on stage. It's really amazing, especially Toyosaki Aki's voice. Every time Toyosaki Aki speak something, the crowd was shouting so loud, so obvious that she has more fans in the hall than the other 3 Sphere members. and yeah, I'm also her fans xD After Sphere stage, next is Danny Choo's presentation. As usual, Danny Choo's presentation is great. He really inspires me a lot. Too bad I can't attend Culture Night Singapore tomorrow night because I will be going back tomorrow morning. After that, I just anyhow walk around and wait till concert time.

The first one to perform in today's concert is Hachioji-P. He's a vocaloid producer. I don't really know about him, because I'm not into vocaloid, but I know many of my friends from M.V.P are his fans. Next is Sea*A. This is the second time I watch their performance, the first time was during AFAMY. Frankly speaking, I don't like their songs. For me, they are just like some idol group. After Sea*A is Kuribayashi Minami. I always see this name and I did listen to some of her songs but can't really remember from which anime. The few songs that I know that was sang today are Tsubasa wa Pleasure Line, Shining Days and Straight Jet. After that is Sphere! Sphere is one of the reason I'm here today! Previously Sea*A and Kuribayashi Minami's performance were streaming live on nico nico douga, but Sphere's one will not be stream. So, thos who watching via nico nico douga had to wait till May'n's turn. The first song Sphere perform is Future Stream! That is the opening theme of Hatsukoi Limited, which is also the song that makes me know about Sphere. After that Sphere also sang 2 anime cover song, which are Sailor Moon OP - Moonlight Densetsu and Mahou Sensei Negima OP - Happy Material. I was wondering why they didn't sing Bakuman season 3 ED - Pride on Everyday. The single was already released on 7/11/2012, which is few days before AFA. The last artist to perform on the last concert of AFA is May'n! Honestly, I don't know about May'n's song other than Chase the world. I also know few songs which SEAMO was featuring, but those are not anime song.

So, that's all. After the concert I went back to my aunty house and the next morning I take bus back to KL. I will upload photos to this post later, need some time to choose and arrange. 2 weeks after AFA ended finally done my post... yeah I'm just lazy...

STEREOPONY Disbanded

Yesterday midnight (2012/10/02) before I going to sleep, I check my facebook and twitter to see if I missed any news, and then I saw this shocking news. It was posted by STEREOPONY Facebook page, here is the link to that post. After reading it, I was stunt for awhile. Why does this happened? STEREOPONY is one of my favourite band since I first listened Tsukiakari no Michishirube from Darker Than Black. After I saw this news, I'm trying to verify whether it's true or not, so I went to Twitter and search for it and I found all the news about it. I also went to their official website and saw message by every members of STEREOPONY. It was even a trending topic in Japan during that time. I really don't like the feeling of my favourite band disband, because it's like almost no chance to listen to their new songs anymore. If just being inactive is okay because in the future they might still release new songs. I already had this feeling few years back when CHERRYBLOSSOM disband, and now I feel it again. Few months back, STEREOPONY had concert in AFA Indonesia, which they performed 12 songs. Too bad that time I didn't go there to watch their live, and now I couldn't watch it anymore. After confirmed the news, I played some STEREOPONY songs before I go to sleep, and the next day my playlist is totally playing only STEREOPONY songs. They will always be remembered.
One more thing, STEREOPONY participated in YUI new tribute album 「SHE LOVES YOU」 to cover 「again」. I hope they already done recording that song, and this might be their last song. Really looking forward to it.

22nd Birthday

17/09, my birthday. Somehow 7 and 9 are my favorite numbers because it's related to my birthday. Frankly speaking, I don't really celebrate my birthday since last time. Since last time, my birthday celebration every year is just having a cake bought by my aunty after dinner, that's all. Last year, my 21st birthday is actually the first time I celebrated my birthday with my friends. Well, this year I didn't expect much too.

Unexpectedly, yesterday night I went out to celebrate with my friends. It's kinda special because we're celebrating 3 person birthday together. One person of course is myself, another two more is Jacklene and Keat. Jacklene's birthday is same day as me, but she's few years older than me. Keat's birthday is yesterday, 16/09, and he's 1 year younger than me. The connection between us is... Ragnarok Online. We played in the same private server and in the same guild. So, yesterday suddenly decided to come out to celebrate, about 9.45pm I leave my house and drive to SS15. They wanted to celebrate at OverTime SS15. I'm the first to reach and then found out that that outlet is closed for renovation. After discussion, we went to check the price at LoudSpeaker Karaoke, but it's full. After that we considered about going to Library, but at the end we went to OverTime @ Sunway Pyramid. Our friend bought 3 pieces of cake for us and we blow candle in OverTime. After that, the staff brought a Flaming Lamborghini to our table, saying that it's free for us. It's my first time drinking it, a lot better than my expectation. After that we just play same card game and chit chat, and we leave about 1.30am.

latest hobby

Lately I had a new hobby, and of course, it's related to my interest, which is reading Light Novel. Last time I only read manga and didn't read light novel at all because it has too many words and only few illustrations. During my primary school days, I did read some detective novels in Chinese, because after watching Detective Conan, I'm interested in detective. However, those few novels are the only novels that I started to read on my own. After that, during secondary school, although I did read some novel, but those are because it's compulsory for me to read due to school and tuition center syllabus. Lately, I start reading light novels because of Sword Art Online. Currently, the anime is still at episode 10. I started to read Sword Art Online light novel when episode 7 of the anime, because I wanted to know the story so badly and the anime had to wait week by week. I spent 2 weeks time to read from volume 1 to volume 10. I read the chinese translated version of Sword Art Online light novel. At first I start reading with english translated one, but I realized I'm reading quite slow, so I try to read the chinese one and turn out that my reading speed for chinese is quite fast. However, I still had to refer to the english one for characters, items and places name because the chinese translated name are direct translation from the katakana of the original light novel, which is quite weird. After finish reading the latest volume of Sword Art Online, I know I had to wait for a long time for next volume to release and be translated.

However, I didn't stop. I continue look for other light novels that I'm interested for a long time but never touch. Firstly, I read Kizumonogatari from the Monogatari series by Nishio Ishin. After that, I wanted to continue on other Monogatari series like Nekomonogatari, Kabukimonogatari, Hanamonogatari and others, but somehow I didn't. The next one I read is To Aru Majutsu no Index. Actually I wanted to read this before starting Kizumonogatari, but I gave up because To Aru Majutsu no Index has 22 volumes. After that, I checked the title of the volumes and chapters of those volumes and found out that the 2 season of To Aru Majutsu no Index actually covered 13 volumes of light novels. Therefore, I decide to skip the 13 volumes and start on 14, although I know I will missed many details in the front 13 volume, because in anime, they will not include all detailed information of the light novel in it. I'm sure about it after comparing the story of Sword Art Online anime and light novel. I took quite long to read volume 14 and until now still haven't complete because I keep pause and totally forget about it.

Yesterday, I finally start watching Accel World anime. Previously I did not want to start this series because from the PV of Accel World, I saw the main character, Haruyuki and I don't really like the look of the character, which is the main reason I didn't watch. However, since I started reading Sword Art Online, I know that both Sword Art Online and Accel World are written by the same author, Kawahara Reki (川原 礫), so I assume Accel World story should be as excited as Sword Art Online, and I started to watch the series. I finished 22 episodes of Accel World within one night. 23 episode will be air on this Saturday, and I think 24 will be the last episode. After watching 22 episode, I start to read the light novel. I quickly browsed through the first few volume, confirmed the story are included in the anime and I skipped. 23 episode story should be in the middle of volume 4, so I started to read volume 4 from the beginning. Currently I reached volume 6, and I assume I can read till the latest volume, which is volume 12 by next week.

Okay, that's all. Actually I just wanted to blog about my new hobby of reading light novel, but didn't expect that I will write a long essay about it. Well, suddenly many things appeared in my mind and I just type all out. Sorry for the long post, I don't mind if someone "TL;DR", since my blog is not really meant to show other people, it's just like my diary.

.hack//Sekai no Mukou ni

I was looking forward for this movie for quite long since I first saw the trailer during December last year.

I was a fans of .hack series since 2006, when my friend asked me to help her download the series. Although I helped my friend downloaded .hack//Roots, but I didn't watch it immediately because I checked and found out there's a .hack//SIGN. I download and watched .hack//SIGN and then .hack//Roots and totally love their story and setting.

Ever since then, I read and watch everything related to .hack series:
Anime & OVA
.hack//SIGN
.hack//Roots
.hack//Liminality
.hack//GIFT
.hack//Legend of the Twilight
.hack//G.U. Returner
.hack//Quantum
Movie
.hack//G.U. Trilogy
Manga
.hack//XXXX
.hack//G.U.+
.hack//Link

So, I was waiting for this movie since December last year. It was aired in Japan during January this year, so normally it takes few months for the DVD/Blu-ray to release. Yesterday I felt that I haven't watch any anime movie for some time, so I check for awhile and realized this movie actually available for download since early August. Without hesitation, I straight away search for download links and start downloading. Today when I wake up, it's completed! and so, the movie begins.

The movie is a little different from my expectation, as I thought it would be full of in-game actions like .hack//G.U. Trilogy, but it's more about the real-life story. The story was really great even though not many actions. I like how Sora acts when she first login into The World, like a totally newbie playing online game. The characters in this movie are same with the other .hack series, but somehow it's totally different, for example Kite without the rare dual blade, blue flame and twilight bracelet. Balmung and Orca also having different name in the movie.

For instance, even if you never watch or read any .hack series, it's totally okay to watch this movie because it's not related to other series. However, I still recommend to watch all the series to know the story behind all series. I'm still downloading .hack//Versus, seems like it's a bonus OVA of the game that released together in the Blu-ray version of the movie.

The theme song of the movie was awesome too.
KOKIA - 光をあつめて (Hikari wo Atsumete)
